I was just thinking about this from the “good old days” when there was no Internet or personal computers and most people didn’t even have cable. All we had was a handful of broadcast stations. Come New Year’s, if you didn’t like football or the Tournament of Roses parade, you could be bored stiff.
Even today, despite what Night-Gaunt says, there are too many times of 150 channels and nothing to watch. Which is why I finally got rid of DirecTV and saved $840 a year.
