Okay, I know this is just a comic strip, but really, what situation in this coffeehouse is pictured here that would warrant such a ridiculous and asinine outburst like this one? I know Murphy can’t exactly ‘revise’ this piece of writing, (it’s a one-shot deal) but he needs to think twice before submitting. How about writing a variation on that woman in Starbucks, who freaked out because she had to wait 10 min. for her coffee. (this can be found on Youtube, naturally)
You are correct, cofyjunkie. The coffee houses that I have been in were so filled with sissies, pansies and hipster wannabees tapping away on their laptops/tablets to each other on the other side of the room, so intenet on convincing each other of their relevance that they were oblivious to their surroundings.
