Unfortunately, that’s how most of us tend to use prayer. We ask that our our will be done.
They say when God wants to teach us a lesson, He answers our prayers. I’m reminded of the guy who quit praying for patience, because God was always sending him new ways to develop some.
Spiritual fruit is one thing, but religious nuts are hard to deal with.
