Those are shelled peanuts: they are still in their shells. Or did you mean shelled peanuts: peanuts which have had their shells removed? Perfect example of a contronym: a word which can function as its own opposite.
Reminds me of the stakeout scene in “Naked Gun” with O.J. and George Kennedy.
