1. Those are cartoonists, not democrats.2. those cartoonists have nothing to say; like addressing the issues.3. those cartoonists have nothing to say because thinking are beyond them.4. Where is your self portrait Mr. Arial? Oh, the jackass.
Just in case some of you do not understand this one:
verb (used with object)
to attack (a candidate or public figure) systematically, especially in the media.
Word Origin and History for borked1987, “to discredit a candidate for some position by savaging his or her career and beliefs,” from name of U.S. jurist Robert H. Bork (1927-2012), whose Supreme Court nomination in 1987 was rejected after an intense counter-campaign.
Until Merrick Garland gets his proper seat on the Supreme Court, there is NOTHING, NOTHING you can say about the Democrats that is in any way comparable to the abomination that was the GOP deliberately blocking a Supreme Court nominee for purely political reasons, in a way that was clearly an unconstitutional intent.
Isn’t Bork the guy that Nixon promoted to (Try) to shut down the Watergate investigation? So Yes Robert Bork should have been denied the seat then because unlike what Trump and Nixon think “If the President does it, it CAN be illegal”
Good grief. You do understand that it’s not that he picked a conservative, don’t you? Everyone expected him to do exactly that. He is incapable of doing anything else.
The problem is the conservative he picked. There are MANY good conservative judges out there. Trump didn’t have to pick one of the most controversial ones he could find.
Expecting no Democrat opposition to Kavanaugh is like expecting Trump to have nominated Obama for the job.
Ok. A list was drawn up of prospective SCOTUS justices sometime before February 2017 for just such an eventuality. Kennedy and the T* administration came to an (unethical and possibly illegal) agreement that Kennedy would resign if T* picked Kavanaugh as first choice to replace him. Kavanaugh had served as Kennedy’s clerk and passed the abortion litmus test. The other judges on the list are just waiting for their turn. Don’t let them get their chances. Justice Ginsberg, keep on working out. Justices Sotomayor and Kagan, you keep working out as well. Take care, fewer sweets and more fruits and veggies.
The process of confirming Kavanaugh to the SC promises to be a Senate classic – grandstanding and softball questions galore. Some of those senators will likely also feel the process’s effects in the midterm elections. Democrats in red states will have to navigate the realities of electoral politics: how will voters react if their senators go against Trump’s conservative nominee? Will they be punished for a vote with or against him? This will be the most contentious confirmation battle for the high court in more than 30 years. But things have changed dramatically since Bork’s day, all parties now understand a Supreme Court nomination, especially from the right, is essentially a political battle.
Guess Dag’s Russian handlers didn’t tell him about the “Saturday Night Massacre” and bork. Maybe he can figure out how to use references to find out the details.
Kavanaugh wrote a dissent when Sea World was forced to add more workplace protections for their trainers. According to Kavanaugh, the trainers know the risks of working with killer whales, so if they die it is their own fault. NFL players suffering brain damage from concussions – to be expected. Minors dying from cave-ins – happens all the time so nothing for their families.

The Rump picked what The Heritage Foundation told him to pick.

Trump picked the guy that would more than likely help save his sorry butt when it comes down to it.
