Keds…PF Flyers…Red Ball Jets…Converse Chuck Taylors…the “prestige” shoes for kids in the ’60s (and maybe a little ’70s spillover). And yes, kids (at least preschool-age kids) still think cool new athletic shoes make them run faster!
