In the UK they drive on the left side of the road. In many parts of the US, especially Vermont, we drive on what’s left of the road. (That one went around a lot this spring)

If we hadn’t sued the H*** out of the railroads, our roads wouldn’t have millions of semis driving on them (and wearing them out) everyday!
A lot like the roads in and around Plymouth, UK.
That sign should read welcome to Michigan.
And be careful of the upcoming river crossing. They wanted to put in a bridge but only had enough funding for two big ramps on either side.
CalTrans does that around here – post a sign instead of fixing the road!
