Cleats by Bill Hinds for October 25, 2014
Transcript:
George: What did I miss? Jerome's Grandpa: That fella just hit a long ball. George: What fella? Grandpa: That fella - what's his name. Jerome: He's the third baseman. George: Oh, right. Home run? Grandpa: Foul ball. Jerome: He's still up. George: Look at that! An elephant in a tutu just ran onto the field! Dear Cleats reader, Deadlines preclude my knowing who will be in the World Series as I create this strip. I'll do my best to fake it without diminishing your comic strip reading experience. I think I'm safe so far - no predictions that will come back to bite me. Ok, this could be trouble.
