Something is very wrong when a nation that self-identifies as a democratic republic has a political system controlled by the wealthy, that mocks its constitution and dumps on the poor.
Ben Carson spent exorbitant amounts of money on a dining room set then tried to blame it on his “staff”. He also wants to order portraits of himself and former HUD leaders at $25K each. Then he wants to cut HUD budget by forcing poor people to pay more. Imagine the money that will be saved when these people are homeless!
Carson couldn’t have been a heart surgeon, he doesn’t know how to relate to having a heart.
We used to think that the dystopian future was science fiction. Reality is supposed to be stranger than fiction. Looks like fiction has become reality because the dystopian future is here and it’s an ugly reality.
I think the people on the left side of this toon just need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps and be rich like the people on the right. You can easily, with no connections, work your way up to CEO of a major corporation just by working some late nights. That is if you are not too lazy.
