Productivity gains should be shared with workers. Since one worker can now do the work that used to require a team of people, they should be compensated for the additional responsibility. But companies continue to cut beyond what people can realistically handle and then give them lousy reviews to keep salaries low.

Ask any Republican, they’ll tell you how the guy in the wagon deserves all of that, and how labour is taking advantage.
