I work at a hardware store, one little detail they don’t tell you about catch and release: Make sure you wear heavy gloves, if you get bit, rabies shots are no fun.
Much as I love animals but roaches, mice and rats have larger populations because of us. So no release. The glue traps work best. Finally got the other rat in my 2nd story apartment. It died and was beginning to smell.
The thing about catch and release mousetraps is, where are you going to release a live mouse in a city? Do you really think other people want it in their houses?
