In the final panel, I do not see a libble in Poncho’s hand. So I guess his attempt was unsuccessful, and no kibble tree.
Good thing there was no vehicle trying to beat the train @ the crossing!
Plant the first kibble, then eat.
My dog would take one kibble, bring it to his comfy spot on the couch, eat it, then go back for the next kibble, and so on…
