These days, the “fumblerooski” (guard-around) and tackle-eligible plays are illegal; there _is_ a rule that a team cannot “fake” the start of a play – five-yard penalty for illegal procedure.
“Plays like these only work if the team is very young and inexperienced”. What a crock. These plays still work in the NFL. Get over it.
Those who can, do. Those who can’t, teach.
And those who can’t teach become administrators.
And those who can’t administrate are made Chairman of the Board.
