    Hay Vagabonds

How about that, the sun is shining on the trees next to the house. Takes about an hour after sunrise to have the sun shining on the house. Gary says do outside stuff this morning and forget the afternoon.

Keeping it on the down low today, God bless you all.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

We drove over to Bushnell (41 miles) to register the RV yesterday, and they wouldn’t do it. There is a space on the title for the odometer reading that was blank and they told us (after consulting someone in Tallahassee) that we have to send the title back to Nevada and have them correct it – they will not transfer title without that reading.

Fast forward: I called Nevada DMV and the RV is exempt from odometer readings because of the weight of the vehicle. They will not modify the title. So now I’m in the middle of a pissing match between Florida and Nevada.

Fast forward again: I called the tax collector’s office in Sumter County and the man I talked to told me that the women who refused me the title transfer were wrong. It says right in their manual that any vehicle is exempt from the odometer reading if it is 10 years old (and the women stopped there and didn’t read the rest) OR over 16,001 pounds in weight. The latter is a Federal law, and all states must comply. So today we take the certified weight certificate we got last August to prove the weight of this vehicle and go back to Bushnell to get the new license plate. Sheesh!!!

It’s a pleasant drive over there, and we enjoyed it and will again today.

Buddy is still keeping his “leavings” in the litter box. That’s worth celebrating!

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning Vagabonds.

Right now it is a nice day with sunshine and temp at 60, however rain is predicted after 2 pm this afternoon until tomorrow morning. You can’t win.

Jaqn: I can understand your frustration trying to deal with the bureaucracy when they don’t read all of the info.

Cheer up, better days are coming.

    Everyone have a good day.
