Yes, Arlo, you have to give him some treats since you made the ‘treat noise’!

Open the bag and let kitty take a sniff. She’ll see it’s not cat treats.

Maybe Luddie would prefer a Tide POD.

If you use treat noise (or electric can opener) as a cat caller, better come across.

< My Quaker parrot Sammy! does this when I open my pill bottles. I don’t know why he thinks my pills are food or treats but he even chirps when I take my first pill, 4 hours before I get him up! <3

If I go in the kitchen – it’s time for treats. If I put a jacket on – it’s walk time! The latter is a real pain in the early Spring, as I need a jacket to work in the garden.

I hope the labeling doesn’t say soap COOKIES.

One of the few times the colorist has added something to a comic.

Our cat comes running whenever the can opener is used. If it’s not tuna I let him sniff the can. Now when I start to hold the can down for him, he backs away, as the smell of tomatoes and some other canned goods makes him gag. He’s learned if he gets to smell it, he doesn’t want to.

Give him a dish washer soap tablet and let him snub it.

I have a cat that runs in expectantly, ears perked, rubbing on my ankles, and meowing so sweetly if she hears me mess with anything in a can. When she realizes I have nothing for her, she nips me on the leg and runs away. Ahhh, cats!

Make it easy on yourself, Arlo. Just give the cat some cat treats. He is going to get some in the long run anyway. Cats always win.

Arlo, you have lifted the lid on that box and the cat named Pandora leaped out of it, demanding treats. You must comply or, well, you know the rest of the story.
