This makes no sense. The Russians backed Trump because they were vehemently against Hillary. Stopping Hillary was their main objective. Unless I am misreading this cartoon.

Republican Ramirez may be trying to say that the Russians were playing both sides and not just trying to elect Trump to defuse the notion that they helped Trump win. The cartoonist usually has some partisan agenda. Of course reality is that the Russians were most afraid of Hillary and have already been rewarded for helping Trump who refuses to impose bi partisan sanctions.

It’s the new Republican lie, how the virtuous Trump campaign was sabotaged by the vicious Dems who bought information.

The Republicans would rather destroy the FBI than look into Trump Russia collusion.

The fight between the Republicans and the FBI is a win-win situation for me.

^ Ramirez’s point is a good one and well made. The motto that Hillary ran her campaign on, “Make America Great Again,” was a stupid motto. She probably got it from the Russian bear.

I think you nailed it Michael. Putin didn’t give a $**t who won the election as long as things got mucked up. I think he has succeeded. It’s been almost a year and a half and the talking heads are still talking about the election.
