Just because it doesn’t give YOUR party an extreme advantage, does not mean that it is "gerrymandering. You should see some of the districts the republicans created in Pennsylvania (particularly the 13th congressional district). It partially wraps around another district, and in some parts, is extremely narrow. You have to work hard to create that shape.
