I too have only one older brother and he’s the one who mostly wears shorts. I don’t copy his fashion trends that much.

Petey would never wear shorts: He might be attacked by Bionic Worms!

A January morning about 20 years ago. 2 degrees. Wind chill? Won’t even guess. I’m wearing so many layers of clothes I can hardly move. I see a young man walking around wearing tee shirt and shorts. Now that’s just silly.

I wear shorts all year round here in central PA. I get harangued all winter from people who think that my choice of wardrobe is their business.

There was a photo in the paper of some kids walking to school in shorts – between two snowbanks. It had gone from freezing to 60 overnight.

Mom should have let Alice go outside and discover shorts are inappropriate for the outdoor temperature. It would have avoided the argument and Alice would have made a decision on her own, far more effective than being told to do it.

You wouldn’t like living with four older brothers, every one of them far more active than Petey, Alice….

This looks like a job for Petey‘s “Out-of-Body” doppelgangers…
