Since I’m not at all familiar with the hierarchy of a hospital or with this particular character, could this be a case of the doctor wanting to talk to her about a promotion or is that something the administrators do? Is he the head of the department in charge of hiring/firing all staff?
Either way, a walk is just that until it becomes something more so I don’t know if I’d read too much into it until we know his intentions. I’ve taken walks during breaks with coworkers both male and female years gone by and it was never more than just talking and walking (usually gossip about the company).
