The red flag cartoon was originally from the national labor strike of 1919 in Seattle. It is unclear why the artist uses it here.

To me the red flag here symbolizes Republicans and Russians and blood and the NRA laundering Russian money to give to the Republicans so they can keep gun laws weak.

The American right wing cares not a whit about organized labor.

The red flag is a sign of warning of danger – or a symbol of Socialist Revolution. Either would fit today’s Republican party. The Russian Reich-wing GOP is ensuring there will be more school shootings. Congratulations to Tim for finally seeing the connection of the Republicans with the Russians, as well as the danger of guns.

The red flag means stop. A black flag means you’ve got a problem that endangers others in the race and you have to get off the track, more apporpriate for those in Congress controlled by the NRA donations, and idiot “patriots”.
