You have to remember to take your cloth bags. Sometimes we forget to bring them into the store but they’re in the car and we take the groceries in the cart out to the car, pack them in the bags and then bring the cart back. But it’s better to pack them in the store and not go to that extra trouble.

Y’know, not for nothing, but …………. you could go get the cloth bags, fill them up at the trunk, and bring ’em inside.

We have so many bags that we have to store some of them in our vehicles, they’ve overflowed the entryway!

Someone needs to invent a trailer hitch adapter to hook up to the cart.. Stores would soon decide giving customers bags is cheaper than gathering up carts abandoned in the neighborhood.

I have two nylon bags which collapse into their own, zippered pockets. They hold a lot, and when collapsed, easily fit into a coat pocket.

We always keep extras in the trunk for just this reason. It’s saved us a few times!

I usually forget the cloth bags, but that’s OK. I use the grocery bags for garbage instead of paying for plastic bags TO THROW AWAY!!! If I accumulate too many, the thrift store always needs some – and then I buy from them and get more garbage bags. TO AVOID THROWING MONEY IN THE GARBAGE.

How many people lobby for laws against plastic grocery bags, then go out and buy bags to throw in the garbage? Besides my roommate? Who drives me crazy by throwing money away.

We have several reasons not to use plastic bags – 1) keeps them out of the landfill, 2) saves us a nickel every time we DON’T get one, and, most importantly, 3) to keep my daughter’s cat from eating them and hacking them back up again (or come out the other end).

I keep heavy duty bags in my pickup and on my motorcycle. After I carry stuff in, I hang the bags on the doorknob to go back out.

When I do get plastic bags when I shop, they get used for trash and cat liter. And before anyone “yells” at me to get a resuable bag, I do have them. I have them for grocery shopping, not regular shopping.
