Well, let’s see………first he gets jumped by Sawtooth while unloading a car and tied to a tree in a blizzard and now he gets cracked by a chef with a rolling pin after getting suckered.
Ok, that’s TWICE this year Tracy has let himself be bonked on the head and kidnapped. Doesn’t he have a partner? Hasn’t he heard of having back up? Doesn’t anyone care about this guy and follow him around? Why won’t he tell anyone, hey, I’m going out back to talk to this creepy chef guy? Come look for me if I’m not back in five minutes.
I notice it’s snowing again. If they tie him to a tree and leave him, I’m outta here!
Where the blazes is Sam? Or, is Sam inside chit-chatting with the guests, eating hors d’oeuvres, chugging champagne, and buttering up Armstrong for Tracy’s job?
Tracy told Sam he was going to drop in and that his questions wouldn’t take long. A solo mission to the Winrock mansion would have seemed a very low-risk endeavor. These murderers are working in tandem, so Tracy is struck down from behind. Dealing with an unconscious detective would seem to pose a larger problem than answering—or refusing to answer—his questions. There’s no dynamic development if Sam is standing there with a toothpick between his teeth. This turn of events changes everything. What fun!
Ummmm…so Ghost surely figured out that he got away with the murder and all he had to do was survive Tracy’s few questions tonight to skate away scot-free, right? So why in the world would they attack a police officer and kidnap him, both crimes that would total close to the time they’d get if they got caught for the murder?
Maybe Tracy will be saved by a wandering soldier of fortune who is looking for Simon’s killer (wants to shake his hand). Naaahh! Tune in tomorrow, same time, same channel.
Unless Ghost plans to waste Tracy immediately (and what maniacal villain ever does that?), clobbering him over the head is a waste of time and effort. On the other hand, if it is Ghost’s intent to off the Chief of Detectives, then he had better have worked out all the details of what he’ll tell Sam and the rest of the MCU, who will swarm the place like a hive of angry bees!
Tracy’s thick skull will probably survive yet another concussive TWHAP (shouldn’t that have been “thwap”?), but it will get his full attention….

So Pierre is not an innocent instrument, but a willing participant of Ghost’s nefarious schemes.
But he sneaks up on Tracy still wearing his chef’s hat, and for a club he uses a rolling pin. Now, that is a chef through and through. :-)

I’m surprised Tracy was that stupid.
He shouldn’t be alone at all.

Like Sherlock Holmes once said, when a Chef turns to evil, he is the worst of criminals. Or he said something like that.

My bad. The chef was in on it with the Ghost. “Through grilling my chefs?” Really, Ghost?

Det. Tracy goes to question Ghost Pepper’s chefs and disappears. Nope. Nothing suspicious about that.

I hope they don’t decide to inject Tracy with Fugu toxin while he is unconscious.
