Y’all quit picking on the prequels. I liked them! (Although I haven’t seen TLJ yet. Gotta wait on video.)

I liked “The Phantom Menace”, myself. Granted, I think it would have been better without the Steppin’ Fetchits (Gungans) and a different actress playing Padme. Natalie Portman should have made her first appearance in Episode 2. The opening scene of that movie would have had a bigger impact.

I liked “The Force Awakens” better than “The Last Jedi” but that’s because I’m more into “fun” movies. I also felt let down a bit when “The Empire Strikes Back” came out, I like it a lot better now.

What if it was “Star Wars Christmas Special” bad?

It’s amazing how a movie, nay, a whole series of movies, can be so universally loathed, yet still rake in gazillions of dollars.

I’m sure it’s some kind of sad commentary on the world we live in today, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out what.

I consider the first three films some of my all-time favorites. “The Phantom Menace” was all right; I never bought into the hype. “Attack of the Clones” committed a cardinal sin; it was boring. “Revenge” almost redeemed it. I needed all of “The Clone Wars” series to wash that bad taste out of my mouth. (Ep. 7 and 8 were good too.)
