Tracy calls the chief “Pat” when he’s off-duty. Has that always been the case? “Chief” in the office, “Pat” otherwise?

BobOscar, re: End of story synopses. Suggestion: I think there was consensus for you to just post a starting entry, then include your synopses as replies to your first entry. Good idea. Next thought: We are all painfully aware of the size limitations on comments in Go Comics. Furthermore, it is obvious that you have pretty much all of your synopses on boilerplate (same objections to size limitations in each post). _Why not tidy up those synopses, removing the size limitation editorials. // Bottom line: We love your synopses, but the editorials on size limitations, not so much. // Other thoughts, anyone?

Unlike Mark Trail, when Dick says he’s taking you fishing, he’s taking you fishing, dead body or no dead body.

Tracy must be in Alabama; today’s high is expected to be around 80 degrees.

Notice that “Simon Stagg picked our city to die in.” I think that’s why the mayor is on the case. Stagg is not from there but he got murdered there. It’s not good for welcoming visitors.

Today’s strip raises a question: Tracy doesn’t feel any great urgency over this case, why should the reader?

When will Stagg’s daughter Sapphire come to claim the body?
