The real-life Francis has done an excellent job handling the relationship with reserve and dignity. I could not be as diplomatic.
There are political strips, and I do subscribe to them and the gloves do come off there for me.

Mr. Marrin: You do not have to become the modern Gary Trudeau. Stick to faith. When you go political; you by definition alienate half your audience.
