It is always fun to “read” the artwork and determine what is going on in the character’s mind. Panel 2-5 leaves me a bit bewildered to the course of events. But here is my take.2- relief and joy as her man will take care of it.3- solemn reflection while the executioner carries out the task. No joy… life is precious, even if it is scary4- I haven’t heard the axe fall, But surely the sentence has been carried out by now5- I will check on Arlo’s progress…6- Arlo is a chicken $h1t and frozen in his tracks.
