This comic provided the impetus to peruse the works of a great American artist. Wow! What a tremendous volume of work!

For those interested here are the names of the originals which Jimmy paid homage to for our viewing pleasure.

1- Winter 19462- Turkey Pond3-Trodden Weed 4- cat in a window 5- up in the studio

3- Trodden weed is a self portrait of Wyeth wearing his boots which were once owned by Howard Pyle, an artist who had counted Wyeth as one of his art students.I remember Pyle primarily for his wonderful account of Robin Hood!

4- I couldn’t find officially if this is a subset out of another larger work.

Anyway, thank you Jimmy Johnson for sharing the appreciation of Andrew Wyeth an American Treasure
