With all the panic in Hawaii during their alert you would think the administration would issue plans to the general public on what to do for the next one?
I was in Honolulu when this happened. I was suspicious from the start, because, as nutty as Kim is, I didn’t believe he would commit national suicide without serious provocation. Plus, the sirens didn’t sound. I texted my family just in case, but fortunately, the hotel announced on the PA system that it was a false alarm only about 10 minutes after the initial alert.
In 1938 Orson Welles put on a radio play about the book, ‘The War of the Worlds’. People started to panic and started trying to get somewhere safe from the Martians who were invading earth. There were people injured in the panic and several died.
