The Dems loves the poor. That’s why they make so many of them.

Apparently BOZHI doesn’t read either as that lie was debunked long ago. The one instance the Repugs were able to point to was a woman who was confused when asked if she wanted to register due to her limited english skills. That’s right, they only came up with the one to intimate it was a widespread epidemic. All the watchdogs and even Trump’s election fraud panel fail to find this to be a problem in our country. But, hey, if the right wing morons say it’s happening it must be. Right?

Sad when other people’s lives are affected by political ideologies that only a small minority of the public fully embrace. The majority of Americans want congress to work together and solve problems now … not play kick the can.

LESTER FOR DUMMIES: Take an act of compassion and common sense, simplify it down to the clumsiest visual metaphor possible, extrapolate the situation to its most extreme and bewildering conclusion, present the result in as condescendingly superior manner as possible.

Our current immigration policy is out of date and does not work. It needs to be studied, revised and amended to reflect the needs of 2018, not 1978. The current policy has many Catch-22 features which create, rather than stem, illegal immigration. It is stupid, wasteful and ignorant for our government to continue to enforce a policy which does not work. Congress (without the president) needs to sit down and write a unified border/immigration policy which meets our current needs and then send the bill to the White House, where he does his job and signs it.

Personally, I want severe fines/imprisonment for hiring illegals to quell the influx.

    Who wants the wall?

“I’m focused on one thing — on making sure that those who are being protected by DACA and eligible for the DREAM Act have a future in America,” (Democratic Sen. Dick) Durbin continued. “I am focused on that full time.”

I want to see DACA people treated fairly, and have a procedure for becoming citizens. Their plight and jeopardy, however, is directly and solely the responsibility of the adults who illegally brought them into this country as children. Those adults knew full well that those children had no legal status, and if discovered, even decades later, they would be subject to likely deportation. Shame on the adults who did that; they and they alone are responsible for whatever immigration penalties and disrupted lives their children face.

Lester, those eligible under DACA have been here since childhood. They have already been educated, some have served in the military. They had to meet certain requirements and they were given promises of protection for them to register so they can pay taxes and not be afraid to report or testify about crimes. Why waste the investment made in these people? Makes more sense to let have them contribute to society rather than breaking up families which can result in financial aid needed.

Well, it does distract from unimportant issues like Russian interference and control in our elections, and the dismantling of our National Parks ,Medicare,Medicaid, the ACA, removal of environmental protection of clean air and water, and the total failure and damage to American government by Trump and the GOP Congress.

Is a distinction being drawn between progressives and corporatist democrats? Or is a long game now being played? …the long game meaning the dreamers can’t work, will go in debt, may lose their homes through no fault…because Trump forced this issue

Appears that Mr. Lester, along with RWNJs, don’t consider “Dreamers” to be fellow human beings who deserve respect! [ Also, a lot of the RWNJs certainly don’t believe in or practice the ‘Golden Rule!’

I guess Lester means that there’s only so much room in the car. But that’s just not true. The country is not a car, the economy is not a car. There’s room for new babies being born all the time, and no one has to leave to make room, so there’s room for the DACA kids.

Everything you need to know about Democrats: they call Americans “deplorables” and illegal immigrants “dreamers".
