He wasn’t talking about thousands of kids storming the southern borders that didn’t have parents with them of or sponsors. They entered the USA illegally through the relaxed policy touted by Obama.

ANTIQUETRACKMAN said "Dr King would never have supported illegals. To say he would is to dishonor his memory. Shame on you. "Yes, I’m sure J.C. would have bigoted views on illegals too, according to you.*(dripping sarcasm+++eyeroll!)

The January 15 New Yorker magazine has an excellent article, “No Refuge”, by Sarah Stillman on immigrants. Deportation can be a death sentence. It’s about the plight of deportees being murdered as a result of deportation back into violent settings by the Trump administration, and due to the GOP Congress unChristian inaction and incompetence on Immigration!

Here’s one of the things Martin Luther King did say: “Cowardice asks the question ‘Is it safe?’ Expediency asks the question ‘Is it politic?’ Vanity asks the question ‘Is it popular?’ But conscience asks the question ‘Is it right?’ And there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular but one must take it because one’s conscience tells one that it is right.”

King knew what he was talking about. After all, he openly opposed the Vietnam war.
