“This is the book I borrowed”.
I borrowed this book.
Me borrow book!
I don’t borrow books. I buy them.
“that"
Here’s the book I borrowed.
Mom, you’re the Grammar Nazi.
“I’ve heard there’s a book made of pure chocolate.”“This is the book, which I borrowed. (I’ve already devoured the first chapter.)”
Grandma, you surprised us you always correct Joe.
My Mom has a friend who used “which” to refer to people, as in “My friend which went to the store.” Kind of sets your teeth on edge.
Lol Now that’s funny and truly ironic. Now for me personally, I would have used “that”
