I really have to ask… why would they be surprised after Trump? I certainly don’t think she is qualified, but I can’t see any reason why she could be considered worse or more shocking than Trump.
Seriously! She would be a better candidate than Trump.
Personally I’m hoping for a well-educated, well-rounded, honorable, truthful political candidate to represent me and the rest of America in whichever political office they have previously been elected to, who has a voting record that can be vetted so that we know what that person stands for and whether or not they are an effective leader willing to participate in bipartisan politics. I think America deserves better than single-party representation in the government. Single-party representation in this case in this day and age so far only represents the elite 1%. The rest of America is left to suffer from the results that legislation does not represent the 99%. What we have seen so far shows absolutely no concern for the country’s infrastructure, for the country’s future, for our standing on the world’s political stage, no honor in our dealings with our contracts and treaties with the rest of the world, no concern for developing Humane programs that care about the working stiff who has to bring in a paycheck every week that is paying for less than the minimum for decent living standards. We need someone who can bring Innovations to problems like the homeless and the starving, who can bring about an end to the problem of children who have no medical insurance but have catastrophic diseases caused by low standards for clean water and clean air and clean food.
Seriously, the GOP lost any moral authority on this issue after Trump. And in addition to Trump’s lack of qualifications, he is (pretty much undisputed) an absolutely horrible human being and doesn’t really seem to care about governing. Oprah, agree with her or not, does genuinely seem like a decent and caring human being and has shown to care about having a well functioning democratic government.
I supposed he is trying to point out hypocrisy… Kinda like how the GOP always love to say they didn’t like Obama because he had no experience… or my favorite because they thought he was arrogant. smh.
When I first read the requirements for president I was appalled. There is really nothing other than age, status as a citizen and not much else. Pitiful.
Even if Oprah does run, the Republicans are still ahead, with Reagan and tRump as Presidents. Or did Michael forget that Reagan was an Actor? tRump could have played Bozo in Ronnie’s movie…
“SERIOUSLY?” Ramirez forgot to show all these former presidents spinning like lathes in their graves at the thought of a misanthropic, ignorant, narcissistic nitwit like Trump occupying the oval office. Oprah Winfrey is an admirable, judicious and honorable person, not presidential material at all, but far more decent as a person than this crooked loathsome conman.

Another Trump Disciple cartoonist desperate to have Oprah run — and acting as if she has already filed and made several campaign speeches.

Is that the reaction of all the former presidents to the current one? Or the excitement the Republicans are showing over Oprah?

I don’t think we seriously want Oprah as our candidate, but it sure puts the Cons in a tizzy, no?

Never thought of the presidency as an entry level position in politics, but at least she is self-made billionaire.
