Well, it is IS a choice, of sorts…
Could be green or black eyed. Also white, yellow, blue, red, and several other colors and national variants.
Those were the choices we had at dinner when I was growing up. Except for all of those yucky, healthy foods. The choice then was eat your spinach now or sit here until you do.
