Just looking at service dogs for a moment, there is enough controversy there with some folks not respecting the training that service dogs by law can go anywhere the public allows. They are not the same as comfort dogs and emotional support dogs, which are not the same and do not have the same legal rights. Then there are “fake” service dogs that are badly behaved and make it harder for legitimate service dogs to go where they are needed (hospitals, stores, offices, etc.).
My brother has a Yorkie and he paid money to an online place to get a paper that says Sugar is a service dog.. Only service it does is yap too much at times and lets him talk baby talk to the dog!
