WMC, grow up. Smokers start fires by tossing their still burning cigarettes places they shouldn’t. It’s that simple.

California will save a bundle in reduced law enforcement costs so maybe they could use that money for fire prevention.

Not quite getting what the point of this cartoon is supposed to be. The headlines seem real, the fact that many folks may indulge in legal marijuana in CA is real, and the showing of two folks indulging while reading a newspaper is also quite representative of reality.

So, quite seriously… I am not sure what the “point” of this comic is. It seems many commenters see it as negative…. but I am not getting why. I would honestly appreciate an explanation of what I am apparently missing.

As for me, being a non-Californian…. and also a person who has never sampled marijuana…. I think it would be enjoyable to finally try it once to see what all the “fuss” is about…. and perhaps the next time I get to visit California or one of the other states where it is legal, I will do so.

Not so stoned that I can’t follow politics.

Whether it be Eric Trump lying to donors about giving money to kids with cancer (USAToday), or Donald Trump stealing tuition money from little children (Fox), or Ivanka speaking in the name of women’s liberation while paying her Chinese female workers a wage so low they can’t even feed their children (TheGuardian). Let’s face it folks, the entire first family are a bunch of low lives. To add fuel to this stinky fire, Ivanka’s jewelry line was just subpoenaed by the Bank of Dubai, with claims that these diamonds were being used in a money laundering scheme.

These people are all crooks! And now they are in control of our government.

    So what?

Oregon, Washington and Colorado have been lighting up for years and nothing about day-to-day life has changed.

As an Oregonian living in Washington who worked for years in Colorado and got his degree in California, I welcome all you ’Fornians to the good times.
