Let this be a warning to the GOPers in the white house, especially Pence.

No one is standing with her; all those brave people speaking truth to power while sipping coffee in comfort keep saying we should not talk about Iran.

There are no “good guys” in Iranian internal political disputes. Let’s just mind our own business in this one.

^ Naw, I’m with Lester here. Let’s support the protesters, sell them tons of guns, ship in lots of money, sneak in the CIA, and then when they’re losing, run away and desert them to their fate, just as we did in Vietnam and Iraq. It’s what we do.

I think a bigger more important protest should be against the mutilation of female genitalia. It is way more common and enforced in those countries that are ruled by Muslims and their misogynist leaders. I agree that they should be able to get rid of their head scarfs, but I think it’s a lot more important to make sure that they are not mutilated for the gratification of the males who would make sure that they never have pleasurable intercourse even inside of their restrictive rules for marriage. Freedom for women has always been denied among Muslim countries.

My above comment said, I totally agree with the point behind the cartoon, who really cares what she is throwing away.

We still can’t get over our buddy the Shah being kicked out when the people rebelled against HIM and his secret police and terror.
