Hmm, I know that the AT&T bonuses will be $1000 for 2000 employees, totaling 2M, but what will be the benefit to the company’s bottom line? Tens if not hundreds of millions? I’m sure the other companies’ “generosity” will be along the same lines.
See, there you go, trickle down works. My companies make a couple of extra millions and you working slobs get a few bucks as a bonus.
AND they will deduct the “bonus” against a higher rate of tax this year instead of waiting until next year and the lower rates.
