The Patterson have this fence and a dog and throughout the life of the comic strip they have problems because they do not understand the concept of “put the dog inside the fence and close the fence door.” Judging from Panel 2, they are not the only people in their neighbourhood with this problem.

In a sense, this is a continuation from yesterday. (Oh, Farley!)

Garbage is so very dangerous for dogs. Between the broken glass and the chicken bones, Farley should be kept away – unless the Pattersons are fine with a hefty vet bill!

The lifelong struggle of keeping dogs out of the garbage continues…

For the bottom strip: Truthfully, I miss getting those calls for some essay and article editing. You know they won’t call unless they just can’t do it without help. The trick was always to not change any content or opinions while proofing.

It’s amazing how much we forgive our dogs.

So there’s a ad which covers the last panel of the bonus strip. I tried to close it to read the strip, and it’s replaced by a white block which says “Ad Closed by Google.” And I still can’t read the punch line.
