Winter is here? Well better watch out for the White Walkers then….

Besides the fact that front lawns are a total waste of time (grass and weeds will just grow again as soon as you cut them), they are also a waste of water and the runoff from the lawn (full of fertilizer) poisons groundwater that some of us use for wells. I think all suburban communities should let homeowners plant veggie gardens instead of sod, or plant a bunch of pine trees, or fill up the yard with a screened in porch…

Winter is the lazy man’s favorite season.

At least in the spring she won’t have to look at the snow he didn’t shovel this winter.

And why doesn’t whats-her-name woman-of-the-house get out and take care of the lawn when she’s not watching the soaps?
