Today, they’re starting The 25 Day of Christmas on Disney XD, which used to run yearly on [then] ABC Family and long before that, Fox Family Cnannel.

I have them all on DVD. I can watch them without the losing the scenes they’ve cut over the years and without having to watch the commercials.

A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Frosty the Snowman, A Claymation Christmas (the only one from young adulthood rather than childhood) and a bunch of movies: It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St., White Christmas and four versions of A Christmas Carol. They all get watched every year.

Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol is my favorite! Some of those songs pop into my head randomly….ringle, ringle, coins when they jingle, make such a lovely sound…

Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree with the Muppets, Robert Downey jr. and Leslie Nielson. It only ran once 20 (?) years ago, my wife taped it and I transferred it to DVD. Robert Downey really chews up the scenery, but it’s fun and we watch it every year. I think you can find it on you tube. However Charlie Brown is still my favorite.

My favorite is George C. Scott’s version of A Christmas Carol. Second place to Scrooge with Albert Finney.

There are a few cartoon Christmas shows I haven’t seen for quite a while. One year, I managed to catch The Curious Case of Santa Claus, with James Coco and Jon Pertwee. Haven’t seen it since.

I would add Muppet Family Christmas (featuring Jim Henson, among others) and Emmet Otter’s Jug-band Christmas.
