Well, we’ve seen over the course of the last year that the Republican base tolerates, if not endorses, narcissism, bigotry, racism, sexual assaults against women, miscegenation and now even pedophilia (the republican Governor and the republican party of Alabama have both said that the accusations against their candidate are totally believable – but they’re still going to vote for him!) so WHY WOULDN’T the Republicans in Congress believe that America (or at least their voters) aren’t willing to just bend over and TAKE whatever the Party wants to ‘give’ them?
Both the House and Senate tax plans ‘screw’ the lower and middle classes and shovels money into the richest peoples’ coffers and THEY ADMIT IT, but they’re going ahead with the bills, secure in the knowledge that enough morons will follow them over the cliff that it’ll pass – and it probably will!
