That’s WHY I always hated being an ‘only child’! Mother always knew who to blame! Of course, both my parents inculcated in me a deep and abiding belief that it was morally wrong to blame others for one’s own actions – but, as a child, I truly wished (on occasion) for another upon which to lay the blame!
That, by the way, is the single most important delineation between a “child” and an “adult”! An adult ALWAYS accepts personal responsibility for it’s own ‘wrongdoing’, while a child will attempt to deflect that blame to others!
