If your turkey is dry it has been over cooked. Throw out those pop up timers and use a meat thermometer.
I always get a game hen. Less mess, less time, no leftovers. Can’t beat it.
Turkeys are expensive only during “off” (non-holiday) season. We were going to just get a roaster chicken this year since there’s only us, but a 12lb turkey was 3 bucks cheaper than a 5lb hen.
I enjoy turkeys and chicken equally..enjoy watching them live happy and free, enjoying the sunshine, same as I do.
