Coal is the Republican fuel of the future as long as the Koch brothers bribe Republicans enough to destroy and ignore all environmental regulations. Republicans want to have a good quarter profit before they destroy the earth for eternity.
You can turn your clocks back 6000 years and keep using coal to pollute the planet, or you can look toward the future and invest in renewable energy. We know which one the Republicans prefer, the one they are giving the most tax breaks to.
Really Mr. Payne, once again you have outdone yourself. I’m trying to find the words to express my disappointment in you without calling you names. As technology moves forward without us in renewable energy, you are right we are going to be 100 years behind of every other country in the world that is embracing renewable energy and Green Technology. So I’m hoping that’s what you meant by this ludacris cartoon.
Payne, I think you’ve been spending too much time in your garage with the doors closed. Renewables are the future – coal miners should be getting training to build solar panels and wind towers. That’s the future.
The sorriest part about a mindset like this cartoon is that even though coal miners who are out of work because there is no more coal to mine profitably and whose mines have shut down, are refusing to take advantage of free retraining in another field because they really believe that Trump is going to bring Coal back. Renewable energy technology and businesses are going to be the jobs of the future and there are going to be a lot of them and it seems a shame that that free training is going to waste because of empty promises.

Mr. Payne; if you were to turn your clock back one hour, you’d be one hour plus 100 years behind.

Henry, you are aware of the fact that solar panels, wind turbines and battery driven cars are cutting edge tech stuff?
