Aye sure and this line, although not closed, will be unusable by anyone else for the remainder of this week and quite possibly next week as well.

I’ve seen people try to use an expired coupon to buy the wrong product and argue about it until the manager has to be brought in.

Where I used to work at, we called them coupon queens.

I was in an express lane behind a woman who had less that 10 items, but she paid from a bag of coins. Tied up the line for about twenty minutes.

I was behind a coupon lady this weekend and as David_42 said, half of them were expired and she argued about it. Kept saying “well, it’s still November so can’t you just take it?”. 8:00 AM on Saturday, I was not in the mood and let her know it.

Coupons are pretty much an extinct species at the stores where I shop. Just as well, too. Just being rid of Coupon Ladies is a blessing. Now, if only people would learn how to scan their credit/debit cards on the first try….

Paper coupons have been replaced by ones on “smart” phones. Too bad the phone users are as smart as their phone. Most of them don’t even begin to pull up the coupons on their phones and then when they try, they can’t figure out how to get to them. They waste more time than the paper couponers. I’ll use a coupon or two if it is for something I know I want but if it is not handy, I will not hold up a line looking for it.
