I think Gil’s mom looks like Marla’s big sister (from the comic Retail, look it up, it’s great, also written by Norm Feuti) and she knows her sis has to work Thanksgiving now as if Black Friday wasn’t enough torture. I would boycott both Thanksgiving and Black Friday if I still lived in the states. My mom did her Christmas shopping all year and avoided the stores after Thanksgiving.
