I see this in the community where I live….and we don’t even have a bench. The kids sit on the ground with their faces in their phones. No chit chat….reminds me of strangers waiting for a train, only they would not be sitting.
I was in a doctor’s office, and a mum and her two daughters were texting each other. The mum’s ‘ring tone’ was a quacking duck. After about five minutes of this nonsense, she caught be watching her with one eyebrow raised.
