Y’know, I was watching a harmless so-called “love scene” on a family-rated show recently and since the dirt turned up with Weinstein I will NEVER see them the same way. All I will see is career-prostitution. YECH.
If this scandal publicizes the abuse that women have gone through for decades, actually for centuries, if it brings it into public consciousness, perhaps we can progress beyond the dehumanization of females in any capacity whether it’s in the workplace or in the home.
Picasso was a womanizing jerk. Miro was supposedly a nice family man. Dali was just strange. However, you can’t discuss modern art out of Spain while excluding any one of them. Art’s like that.
