My sister,many years ago at Brownie Scout camp, was asked to put her foot on a log to steady it for the Brownie with the axe! A quick trip to the nearest Emergency Room and several stitches later, she was back at camp enjoying all the sympathy…..and some ridicule!
1 – I always worry when I am cooking at a reenactment while the guys are splitting the wood for me to use to cook. 2- I have a business client who is terrified of the 13 – not just Friday the 13th, but anything with the number 13. She had her mom’s hospital room changed from the 13th floor. I cannot go to her on the 13th – or even call on the 13th and make an appointment to come another day. She once wanted me to cancel an IRS appointment I was going to for her as it was on the 13th (not a Friday).

Hubby and I lie in bed at night and he explains all the scars he got chopping wood with his brother. They were about 5 and 3.

Don’t like those Friday 13th movies. But my youngest daughter was born on a Friday 13th many years ago and it was a full moon too . She turned out ok.
