Speak for yourself, Mr. Rall. Maybe you’ve missed all the people who ARE freaking out?

But if I am out protesting the collapse of democracy and the American middle class, I will miss the Kardashians and Dancing with the Stars.

The Republicans are in charge of everything.

Everything that goes wrong is their problem.

If just 50% of registered democrats would vote we could wipe out the right wing scourge.

Some people are freaking out. We don’t want a president who attacks Puerto Rico after a hurricane, threatens American’s jobs under the guise of patriotism and is trying to start a nuclear war.

third of us aren’t freaking out – they actually want this.

Trump told his staffers to portray him as ‘crazy’ to get more out of negotiations with South Korea

“You’ve got 30 days, and if you don’t get concessions then I’m pulling out,” Trump told Lighthizer.“Ok, well I’ll tell the Koreans they’ve got 30 days,” Lighthizer replied.“No, no, no,” Trump interjected. “That’s not how you negotiate. You don’t tell them they’ve got 30 days. You tell them, ‘This guy’s so crazy he could pull out any minute.’”Trump continued: “That’s what you tell them: Any minute. And by the way, I might. You guys all need to know I might. You don’t tell them 30 days. If they take 30 days they’ll stretch this out.”Some national security experts have criticized Trump’s apparent willingness to foster a “madman” image with world leaders, especially with regard to North Korea. The president has vowed to “totally destroy” the country and has referred to its leader Kim Jong Un as “Rocket Man” on several occasions.

Freaking out does not really fix the situation simply because it does not even change the overall political situation…all it contributes to is damage to either your own or other people’s property. If you feel that life is difficult, that sort of behavior will not make it any easier. Just take a look at how many demonstrations there have been against this or that esp. since 2000, and how (nothing) much has changed because of those demonstrations. Sort of like all the marches and walks against breast cancer or other cancers that has been organized since at least early 1990’s…you would think that cancer would have been eradicated during the nearly 30 years since but it looks like most of the activism simply serves to fill the coffins of the various foundations that arrange it.

Burning down your neighborhood is called a riot. Riots are dumb. We need to vote wisely next time. All of us together. Maybe encourage impeachment. Maybe if we tell him what we think of him his feelings will get hurt and he will go home. Seriously. But do not burn down stuff,

The problem is finding the right lever to pull. Demonstrations are painted by the propaganda regime as a bunch of violent nut cases – as they’re assaulted by the violent nut cases in the paramilitary police forces. Many other actions will land you in jail or a morgue. However, to take only one example, if there were a “flash mob” whose goal was to pound voting machines into scrap, to force voting on paper ballots and hand counting of those ballots, I’d be inclined to join in.

Ted Rall has some culpability in this after portraying Hillary Clinton and pathetic mentally ill trump as equally bad. Seriously?
